Dr Lisa DeMumbrum-Lee is a native of Michigan and grew up in the suburbs of Detroit. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1990 with a B.S in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Richland Center, Wisconsin and became an associate at Richland Veterinary Service. She worked there in mixed practice and after 9 ½ years became a partner in the practice. Dr. Lisa moved to Madison in the summer of 2005 and worked in a local practice before opening her own mobile veterinary practice in June 2007.

     She loves to work with a variety of animals and has always enjoyed the owners that care for those pets. Dr. Lisa has a particular interest in surgery and likes to work with llamas and alpacas also. Owning this practice gives Dr. Lisa and her husband Steve the freedom to practice veterinary medicine from their hearts. It is much more about the people and the pets they love than the bottom line dollars and cents that inspires this team to pioneer this bold new venture. Both Dr. Lisa and Steve have used their skills in the world abroad; Steve has done work with Habitat for Humanity in the Philippines and Dr. Lisa has used her veterinary skills doing projects in Haiti and Vietnam. Today she resides in Madison with her husband Steve, a teenage stepson Michael, plus their 3 dogs & 2 cats.

     Dr. Lisa looks forward to getting to know the variety of pets and their owners in the Madison area, for many years to come. Look for her new mobile clinic on the roadways in Madison and the surrounding areas!
