At Paws & Claws we offer you the ability to make the end of your pet's life as stress free as possible, by offering at home euthanasia. Every pet deserves the comfort of home and loved ones around as they depart from this Earth.

An appointment time is best, however we will try and accommodate any sudden needs that arise.
Generally, your pet will be sedated with a mild sedative and once sleepy, the final intravenous injection is given. They then relax and within a short period of time we confirm that both heartbeat and breathing have stopped.

If home burial is not an option we can help with cremation services, with or without the return of ashes.
Our desire at Paws & Claws is to make this difficult transition as peaceful as possible. This private time at home allows for some wonderful embraces during the final goodbyes between you and your pet.

Cost of euthanasia varies a bit depending on the weight of your pet with a minimum of $133 and a trip fee of $40-$45.

We work with Memorial Pet Services in Middletion, and cremation costs depend on the type and weight of your pet.
